The cost of a Greyhound ticket depends on the fare type you choose, your route and when you book.
Greyhound offers three fare types to suit different travel needs:
Early Bird Fare
Our lowest-cost fare option.
Early Bird fares are best suited to passengers with fixed travel plans, as they are non-changeable and non-refundable.
Flexible Fare
Flexible fares offer greater flexibility if your plans change.
With a Flexible Fare, you can:
- Change your travel date and time up to 1 hour before departure, subject to seat availability.
- Defer your travel and rebook within 12 months of the original purchase date if you're unable to travel as planned.
Flexible Fares are not refundable.
Flexible Fare with Travel Sure
With Travel Sure added on, your fare has even more flexibility if your plans change.
With a Flexible Fare with Travel Sure, you can:
- Change your travel date and time up to 1 hour before departure, subject to seat availability.
- Defer your travel and rebook within 12 months of the original purchase date if you're unable to travel as planned.
- Grab a refund for the ticket price (excludes booking and Travel Sure fees)
Travel must not have commenced, and you must contact us, at least 1 hour before departure.

Helpful tip: If there's a chance your plans may change, a Flexible Fare gives you the freedom to update your booking before departure.
