How much time should I leave between connecting Greyhound services?

Modified on Tue, 29 Sep at 6:03 AM

If you're travelling on consecutive Greyhound services as part of the same journey, we recommend allowing at least 60 minutes between connections where possible.

While our team works hard to keep services running to schedule, factors such as traffic, road conditions, weather and operational requirements can occasionally impact arrival times.

Leaving enough time between connections helps create a more comfortable travel experience and reduces the risk of missing your next service if unexpected delays occur.

If you're connecting to a flight, train, ferry or any other third-party transport service, we strongly recommend allowing plenty of additional time between services.

While Greyhound will always do its best to operate services as scheduled, we are not responsible for delays, disruptions or cancellations that result in missed third-party connections. Greyhound Australia is not liable for any associated costs, including but not limited to replacement transport, accommodation, meals, lost bookings or other expenses incurred as a result of service delays or cancellations.

You can review the best booking options by jumping to Book A Ticket and selecting your departing and arrival destinations. You can also review our timetables under Travel Information and decide what routes and times suit best.
