What do I need to know when travelling with a child on a Greyhound?

Modified on Wed, 15 Apr at 4:21 PM

Children aged 14 years and under must travel with a responsible adult at all times and cannot travel alone on Greyhounds. The accompanying adult is responsible for the child’s supervision, safety, and wellbeing for the entire journey, including any transfers or layovers.

Car seats and booster seats are not required on Greyhounds. All coaches are fitted with seatbelts, and it is mandatory for all passengers, including children, to wear a seatbelt while seated.

To help make the journey more comfortable, we recommend bringing snacks, drinks, and age‑appropriate entertainment for your child. Onboard features such as WiFi and USB charging ports may be available on selected services.
