What if another passenger is in my seat?

Modified on Tue, 29 Sep at 6:12 AM

If another passenger is sitting in your selected seat, we recommend politely letting them know they may be in the wrong seat and showing them your ticket or seat allocation.

In many cases, it's simply an honest mistake and can be resolved quickly between passengers.

If you're unable to resolve the issue, or you're uncomfortable addressing it yourself, please speak with your Coach Captain, who will be happy to assist.

While we'll always do our best to honour your selected seat, there may be occasions where seating arrangements need to change due to safety, accessibility or operational requirements. If this happens, your Coach Captain will help find the most suitable alternative available.

In some cases, seat selection may not be available. This can happen when the same seat isn't available for the entirety of your journey, particularly if your trip includes multiple sectors or coach changes. When this occurs, your booking confirmation will display 'Driver Instructions', and your seat will be allocated by the Coach Captain on the day of travel.

Tip: Having your ticket or Booking ID ready when boarding can help quickly confirm your seat allocation if needed.
