What happens if one part of my return trip is cancelled?

Modified on Tue, 29 Sep at 6:45 AM

If either your outbound or return service is cancelled, we've got you covered. We'll automatically defer the affected travel, giving you the opportunity to reschedule. Simply log in to Manage Booking and choose a new date and time that suits you.

If you'd prefer a different option, you may also be eligible for:
  • Travel on another available Greyhound service
  • G-Dollars (for eligible customers with a My Greyhound account)
  • A refund for the affected service (travel passes are excluded)

We won't automatically defer all travel on your booking. Our Customer Experience Team can help review the options available for your entire trip.

Things to know
  • Rebooking and alternate travel options are subject to availability.
  • Please ensure to review your return travel stop locations and relevant timetable, as some services do not operate daily.
  • Greyhound is not responsible for additional costs caused by a cancellation, including accommodation, flights, transfers or other independently booked travel arrangements.
  • We are unable to reimburse costs associated with other transport providers or services booked separately from Greyhound.
  • If you have travel insurance, your provider may be able to assist with additional costs, depending on your policy.
  • Administration fees may apply to booking changes completed through our Customer Experience Team.

If your travel is affected by a delay, cancellation or disruption, we'll keep you updated as information becomes available. Our Customer Experience Team is here to help, review our Contact Us options. Wait times may be longer during peak periods.

Important: We understand delays, cancellations and travel disruptions can be frustrating, we ask that all interactions remain respectful. Abusive, threatening or aggressive behaviour towards our team members or Coach Captains will not be tolerated. In these circumstances, we may refuse travel in line with our Terms and Conditions, and refunds are generally not available.
