If your service is delayed, we'll do our best to keep you informed as soon as updates become available.
Delays can happen from time to time due to traffic conditions, roadworks, weather events or other factors that can affect a live transport network. We'll always do our best to keep you informed and get you on your way as soon as it's safe to do so.
Where possible; we will keep customers informed a number of different ways, including;
- SMS (Australian mobile numbers only)
- Updates on our Service Updates page
We'll always do our best to keep you informed. Most of the time, the information you've received is the only current information available to us at that time. As soon as we have more information, we'll continue to share updates wherever possible.
Tip: When checking the Service Updates page, you may notice the service departure date is listed differently to your departure date. Some Greyhound services travel across multiple days, so updates are published against the service's original departure date.
What if I haven't received a notification?
There may be times when a delay occurs with little notice, or the contact details on your booking are incorrect or out of date.
If you haven't received a notification and are concerned about your service, we recommend:
- Checking Service Updates
- Viewing Coach Tracker
- Reviewing your booking details to ensure your email address and mobile number are correct
What if I'm worried about a connection?
If your delay is likely to affect a connecting Greyhound service, our Customer Experience Team can discuss the options available for your booking.
